Deep Love on "The Voice"

Last night my wife and I were super excited to cheer on our friend Ryan Hayes who performed with Jon Peter Lewis on The Voice. They ended up turning all 4 chairs and picking Adam Levine to be their coach for the show. Before their performance, there was a snippet where they showed pictures on a tablet of Deep Love: A Ghostly Folk Opera, which Ryan actually wrote with another friend of ours Garrett Sherwood and performs in with Garrett and Jon.

Anyways, I'm super excited that they made it on the show and I get to watch them on TV, but I'm also excited that my work was on TV for a whole 1 or 2 seconds! Happy Pi Day! Every March 14 we try to celebrate the mathematical number π, or 3.14159265359... used in geometry, trigonometry, physics, etc. Read some more about pi on wikipedia, there's some cool stuff there.

Tonight I'll possibly be making/eating a rhubarb pie and watching "Life of Pi". Thank you mathematics, thank you pastries, sugar & fat, and thank you Yann Martel & Ang Lee.
